Just thought you might like to know: I just called Weyerhauser to see when the tree farms open. They said that they no longer own the tree farms: someone named Hancock Forest Management does. So I called them and they said they don't own the land either but they are trying to buy it from Weyerhauser. The plan is to make the purchase, then set up the recreational program along the same lines as Weyerhauser's permit program. But they could not assure me that there would be any program this year.
My favorite lakes (Calligan especially) are up in the Snoqualmie tree farm :(
