my girlfriend and i stopped by blackman's for a few hours this afternoon before having lunch in snohomish. we fished of the dock by the boat launch using various colored powerbait, and for a bit, roostertails and rappalas. didn't get so much as a bump. we talked to an oldtimer that was fishing worm and bobber that said he had been there all day and only had one bite. he did say some kids were there in the morning that caught a few small perch. it was a beautiful day for fishing, but as far as the catching went...nada. maybe a bit later in the year it will be better.
