Headed up to Loon afterwork for a short evening fishing, got in the water around 5pm, water temps were in the high 60's and a slight breeze, only a few boats on the water. Headed over to the north side docks throwing some cranks with no results, then hit the northeast flats, again, no results. Trolled accross the lake and the wife only had one hit. So, after dinking around for an hour and a half we headed over to our favorite spot in the lillies and I caught 4 LMB in 30 min. The wife enjoyed catching a few bluegill too. Sure does get cold when the sun goes down. Also enjoyed watching a couple folks flying around in their ultralight. A very nice evening.

good picture jim. do you think that the fishing should be picking up now that the weather is changing/ I am unfamiliiar with the end of the season bassin? i usually do my best in early spring.

Thanks Tim, should pick up with the water temps heading down in the 60's, dinner time is dark thirty!
