took the 3 yr olds out to see if the bass are staging yet in one of my favorite fall spots down by tum tum. they are there. we were just dragging a motor oil 3 inch ribbed worm or a small paddle tailed jig in pearl. we tipped with a piece of gulp nightcrawler. caught a bakers dozen, nothing big but the kids had fun reeling them in and watching them swim in the floor box. water temp is about 66 in most of the lake except up around suncrest it is 62 or so. beautiful day out, sunny and little wind. might try again today and see if we can't fish to catch the bigger ones, but numbers talk when it is little kids fishing.
