Hey there Perry... Don't give up on Silver so easily. The muskies are in the mood right now, you just need to slow down a bit. I had multiple strikes on Friday evening, seeing 3 of 5 strikes. They are lethargic right now since the water temps are in the mid 50's. Not sure if Newman has cleared up yet. If it hasn't, I would keep plugging away at Silver. I know you will tie into one of those muskies. Focus on the timber (east side) and the bay just accross from the boat ramp. The fish are also a bit deeper. If you have anything you can throw that drops down about 5-8 feet and does so under low speed, try that. Good example, Husky Jerk deep runner. You need the pauses in your retrieval so they don't feel like they need to pursue. That expends too much energy for them right now. Good luck, and keep posting! Also, if you do go to Newman, let us know if the water clarity has changed.....
