Spent the whole day...dusk till dark...looking for perch. We found 4. But we also found 7 keeper walleye. Everything was deeper than 50 feet, and not on any distinct structure or cover. Water temp was 51. Cloudy day with only light breezes, air temps probably mid 40's. Ran bottom bouncers with spinners and crawlers. Ran one rig with a stickbait, and threw a jig a little bit....but no bites on those. We saw only two other boats on the entire lake...and both were at the very upper end. Everybody must be enjoying the Seahawks (ha ha) or off hunting. Didn't even catch a stray bass. Went with one of my usual partners, and we took a freind who had done very little walleye or perch fishing, but wanted to give it a try. We had a great time and made new contacts for future fishing trips.

I am more impressed with your doing the whole lake than your catch... I suppose I could do that if I were not fishing but even at 40mph it would take about an hour and 3/4 to circumnavigate that body of water. You must have a very very fast boat, my guess is it's a Lund too!! LOL Glad someone is out there wrangling those Walleye. Photos would be nice!

Wow, Did you forget the gatorade and binoculars too? All day uh? I think it's about time for Roosevelt and silvers, Rufus, or Chelan and the trench, or just save gas and sit on the porch with the binoc's and gatorade. LOL

Until ice-up the south end usually has better fishing than the north end.
