After an adventurous trip to the ramp following an overnight freezing rain episode, Andy managed to launch the boat with a minimum of damage to the dock or the equipment. He took Brian Duce and his 11 year old son, Matt of Marysville out on Roses for a morning of Mackinaw fishing. He tried to get back on the big'uns above the Yacht Club with squid rigs baited with kokanee slivers. Only a couple of light bites rewarded their efforts for the first 2 hours. Rather than change location. Andy went back to Silver Horde's Kingfisher Lite Spoons in green glow colors and picked up 7 in 2 hours and lost a few more. They had a great time and enjoyed the heated enclosure to keep their toes from freezing. Back at it tomorrow morning and up to Rufus on Sunday.
