2/28/2011 6:27:00 AMHard to say what happened to it. Catfish are tough, though. They'll easily survive the winter. We used to catch them on live minnows under tip-ups while ice fishing in PA. During the summer we'd find shallow, sandy/muddy areas and catch them at night with things like shrimp and crawlers. They're both great fighters and eaters!

2/28/2011 12:39:00 PMYea, I read on friendsofgreenlake that they had catfish, I didn't know they were still around. I know they had tiger musky in there at one point, but from what I can tell the last time they planted them was so long ago that they are probably gone from old age. There's so many weird kinds of fish in this lake, even giant goldfish! You never know what's still swimming around in there. I'm gonna try and catch one of those cats now though, because they're delicious!
