About time we got into the perch we were lookin for. This winter seemed slow and we only had a few days where we had 20-30 a day, which is usually never an issue. Fished are favorite spot and it was hot. Big schools moving thru all day, couldn't even get your bait to the bottom before you were pulling another in. Demon tipped with a maggot, as well as a beaded head fly always gets them. Glad to see the ice this thick so late in the season, maybe get out one more time? Can't wait to fry em' up, should be a tasty fish fry!

Goodnight... I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the photos. Where the heck have these guys been all season? It's not like Eloika's that huge - they must have been schooling tight and holding somewhere previous to now. Way to fill that freezer... wow... and they're hefty ones at that.

Those are some plump looking perch. Maybe they are spawning or maybe the digital picture downloaded with a wide effect. After blowing up the first picture. The rows of fish are fairly defined from closest to about 3/4 of the way down the table. I am going with 16 rows of perch X a minimum average of 12.6 fish per row and max of 13.5. That"s 16 x 12.6 = 201.6 min. fish or 16 x 13.5 = 216 fish. This is conservative. I actually counted them twice and came up with 216 and 224. I would like to know how big the one is in the front row (nearest you) and furthest fish on right. That qualifies as some serious catching. You can do the math on how many limits there is. Wwwwwossser!

Quad, a lot less time than filleting them. Most still look to be frozen.
