Hit liberty for the morning bite. This was my last trip out before the arrival of my first child and future fishing buddy. Boated a few Browns and called it a day. Water temp was 36-38 degrees on average. Fish On!

Glad to hear the bite is finally on. How deep were you trolling and what lures did you use?

I'll be out tomorrow (thurs.) I took the day off of work. I'm pumped to fish this lake for spring trout. I'll be trolling rapalas and throwing plastics. Nice report, nice fish, congrats on the little buddy. I like your thoughts trout master. on that note, myself and two brother in laws hope to have a real bonk fest.

Rainbow colored Rapales are the ticket when trolling Liberty. If the temps are in the mid 40s its gravey time. Original 5s or 7s, shadrap 5s or 7s. Long-line em, start with no weight, find the right speed and enjoy.
