Wasn't able to spend the whole day as anticipated but did get out for the afternoon. The wind picked up and was just shy of whitecaps. Targeted NW side of I-90. Marked lots of bait and fish and I think I was getting close but it was time to pack up to meet the family for dinner. 15 mins before I picked up I had two strikes. I was stumped because I fished mini-squid with 000 chrome flasher 100' out. The fish were between 40'-60' per the fish finder. So at what depth do you set the downrigger? I set it at 20' and that's when I got the strikes. So I think with the line being out 100' it will drop 20'? Anyway nice to get out wish I had more luck and any advice would be great.
