4/18/2011 12:35:00 PMJust curious if you are staying at the Spectacle lake resort? they have a pretty nice simple set up of rooms with boat rentals, dock, horse shoes and whatever you need. Did you fish any particular end of the lake?

4/18/2011 3:56:00 PMWe are staying there for the first time. It is a real nice and neat if a bit funky, which is what we prefer. I have never stayed anywhere that has as complete a setup including fish smokers. We have fished mostly at the far end of the lake. We have our own boat and we always seem to use it go away farther than we probably need to, just because we can I guess.. The folks fishing off of the dock here at the resort have caught just as many fish as we have.

4/19/2011 10:33:00 AMI did not realize the Rectacle......hmmm....... I mean "Spectacle" opened before the general opener. Dually noted. A great lake! Long drive from Seattle and yes a funky set up for overnight accommodations but adequate.
