So curious.... did you rig up some kind of thing like Mark from the Sea did.... with a tape etc.?? Or what is your game plan? Will you just show a tape measure with your 3x5 card and the bait? I am exited for this little online tourney... but some of the schematics are a bit cornfusing.

5/14/2011 8:10:00 PMI`m excited also. Was real excited this morning but that didn`t go as planned. Nice to be getting out with the weather. I`m just going to have a tape measure and my index card next to the fish. My camera has date and time. It was confusing to me also till I figured out what and how to do it. Really not that much to it.

5/14/2011 8:27:00 PMI'll show you what I made next time I see you on the lake. Simple box shaped, with a line representing 14" so it's real easy to see at a glance if it's long enough. Also with a tape tacked to the 'floor' for a positive measurement. The index card is tacked to the 'back wall' and the card for each individual fish specs will be hung on wire hooks next to it for the picture.Gonna be a few days before I go again, going to rain for a week or so now.
Ya, caught a 2-3 smallie but the index card blew out of the boat on the way to the lake so can't count that one, so I fun fished for another hour, then went home. Found the card about a 1/4 mile from home just sitting off the shoulder of the road standing up like a tent. Even had the AMX letters facing me as I drove past it, real easy to read it. So I'm good for the next trip to the lake.

5/14/2011 8:41:00 PMyes I want to see it and I`m curious to see if and how everyone else rigs there`s up. I won`t be back out till the weather turns. It`s really got the fish messed up out there. Seen beds from resently with not a soul around I can`t figure out what`s going on so I`m blamming the weather.

5/15/2011 7:52:00 AMI was out there thurs for about 4hrs. no fish though. I have only fished out there one time and I think it was in January. I was gonna say the fish gods are "hatin" but I think its the weather gods. I did'nt see any beds. It seems like any time the winds blows from the southwest the fish are shut down.
