After a morning of rain, and household chores this morning, Cindy was ready to hit the lake when there was a break in the clouds this afternoon/evening. As we had a great meal out of the limit yesterday, I figured some silvers for the smoker would be a good idea. Hit the water around 4:00, and headed up to the lakeside area. A few boats on the water when we got there, and most of them left shortly thereafter. Had out three rods and flash-Lites and wedding ring on one, and flasher and 'Bitsy Bug" on one, and flasher and wedding ring on the other. Bug was green color, and one pink wedding ring and one red wedding ring. Tipped with crappie nibble or shoe peg corn. Fished fron 25' to 40' of water today. Caught fish right on bottom, AND on the surface today. While letting out line on one reel, had a hit on a rod already out, so just let the one line pull behind the boat (40-50' back) while I reeled in the one fish. as Cindy was putting the net to the lil guy, the flat line went to jerking. A lil silver was airborne several times before he came off. Quite the show for such a small fish. LOL We had several Tripples on that we landed and several more tripples that we didn't get landed. So if you've ever wanted to get into the Lake Chcelan Silvers, you won't have a better time to catch some. They were hitting consitently today, and makes for a fun outing. On the way back to the launch, there was a hen Mallard wwith 14 ducklings at the waters edge. Took some footage, but didn't want to disturb them too much. We always enjoy seeing the baby Ducks in the spring. Wet but a good fishing trip

Good lookin' mess of fish you got there! Thanks for the report.
Years ago, beach launching at Lakeside was allowed up until Memorial Day. Do you know if that is still allowed?
Thanks Andy

Hey ya Robert, I have folks asking why do you fish for those little things. I tell them, Because they are there. LOL They may make small fillets, but my-o-my, they sure do eat good. We are about as bad as the grizzlys on the alaskan rivers. While the run is going we eat kokes until we should be growing fins.
