5/16/2011 8:39:00 PMCongrats on catching fish and placing in the tourney. I'm no bass fisherman, but it seems less than ideal conditions out there right now. Overall, how many bass were caught in the tourney would you guess?

Fished in the local bass club tournament. Caught two bass good enough for 6th place. Poured rain most of the day. Winds were moderate but tolerable. Water temps were 50-52. Did not see any beds. My partner boated 3 bass. Did not find a pattern for the fish, although a total of 5 fish in our boat is hardly enough to establish a pattern. The lake had come up 3/10ths of a foot yesterday, and undoubtedly was rising today. The lake level is roughly 9 feet lower than it was at this time last year. It was a fun tournament.....we dragged in somebody's lost gang trolls, and a boat in our club forgot to put the plug in, so we had to drain him before he could go. All good material for the year-end banquet!
