I think I started fishing about 6am finished about 8:30am. I think I lost about 5 and then the 5 for my limit. Man, these things are slimy. I was using a rag to hold on to one while I made the cut to bleed it and it just popped right out of my hand into the water. Put the motor in reverse and netted it but I lost the blue rag.
I stayed close to the island, the north side mostly. It got busy on the lake after 7 and close to 9 it was a very busy place. The sky was cloudy and there was little wind. I fished in 36-70 foot of water between 10-23 feet. I had a hit on the surface while I was getting my other rod on the down rigger. Therefore, surface to 23 feet for me. I used Dick Nite Pink Splatter and Bahama Mamma dodgers with Wannafish A Lure Pink Ice and Bloody Mary. I hooked a few on this other new lure but did not get one into the boat. Of course, tipped with maggots and corn.

It was nice meeting all you WAlakers this month.
Who was parked in front of me today? WAlakes.com sticker (amongst other stickers)on the back window? Dark colored truck, crack in the windshield.? Got there after 6 but before 8:30am?

i like your set ups- obviously you tie your own leaders for the wedding rings- are those just beads between the hooks?

Yes, separate beads. I think they open at 5 or 5:30 am.

I sent you an email with the launch link. Today I think I only saw a couple water skiers but when I left the lake was busy with fisher-people. Also watch out for the competition rowers. One guy was out today and I didn't see him look over his shoulder once to see what was in front of him and they are fast.

the wannafishalures- pink ice and bloody mary.. I have to get a paypal account set up to order but thought I might pick up a couple for the weekend.. I will be driving a 16' smokercraft with blue top if you make it out Sat. I have googled the other launch before and it looked good for my boat but the wdfw one is fine.

No wannafish a lures are only available online or through me. It is my understanding that you don't need a paypal account if you don't want to sign up.

Hey Toni,

I have an open seat at American Lake on Friday 6/3 if you would care to join myself and another friend. I am known as HookSetter at Gamefishin.com and have offered open seats before. You pm'd me about a previous trip and I have since seen you here and at the other board. I come down from Everett and launch from the city park on the north end. It doesn't open until about 7 am.

So, if you would like a comfortable seat, good music (for anybodys taste), and sharing friendship and fishing tales, please join us. I thought maybe we could borrow some of your kokanee expertise and share our perch expertise. Limits of kokes followed by a bucket of eatin' size perch could make for a great day.

Think that might have been me Toni. It was a green dodge with crack in the front window. I have the sticker on my sled also. Got there about 6:45.

@randy n' lizzie Thank you for the invite but I will have to take a rain check. I work Friday and Saturday. You drive all the way down here? Wow! You have Lake Stevens that is closer to you.
I do like Perch if they are big enough.

@Racer 620 It may have been. I didn't see your sled but I walked by the back of your truck to get to my vehicle. I have a sticker but it is on the back bumper which you would not have seen.

" Wannafish A Lure Pink Ice" I like it! Could become a kokanee classic. :-)

Wow Toni, those things are fat and healthy looking! Hope you have been doing well.
Nice to get back on and see so many posts from so many people and doing well with their fishing I might add.
