Trolled for quite a while using mainly spinners and some Rapalas. Stopped at times to cast for a bit. Nothing but a hit every now and a great while. Close to wrapping up the day, we made another trolling loop near the NW end of the lake...just chilling...then BAM! A big one! It jumped of the water twice while reeling it in...putting on a good show and fight. Pulled it out and into the boat and it freed itself LOL. It was a 2 1/2 pound trout, about 17 inches. Nice fish. Caught another on the way in, not as big. Caught them on an original Rapala, bright orange top, white bottom. It two times trolling on this lake this year, that lure plus the same kind only green/orange with stripes has really done well.
