Drove to Lost Lake, a sub-alpine lake near Lake Keechelus. But there were a ton of logs blown up against the shore, preventing us from hand launching the portabote. So we invented a plan B. Drove all the way out to Quincy, since we had the day to use. Quad ended up catching 4 very fiesty 12-13 rainbow trout. He also lost about that many at the boat. I only caught 1 fish, but still had a blast. It was a warm sunny day there, maybe 75 degrees, pretty breezy. Water temp read about 69 degrees. Several bank camper/anlgers, and only a couple of other boaters. A great way to spend a Father's Day.

Ya its always a pain to launch and load at Lost lake due to logs. You almost always need a pair of waders to get it clear

Ah, good idea, waders would have been handy. Next time!

Your floating urban assault vehicle is looking pretty "honey badger" with the Quad standing to the side holding a "mud bug trap". Any mud bugs caught for eating, bait, for the aquarium back home?

Thanks, Moto :) He caught no beasties with his fancy trap and liver bait.
