This is a multi day report. I have fished Wilderness 3 times the past week and results have been good. Average has been about 3 to 4 fish landed per day and losing 2 to 3 fish due to various reasons.

I know alot of people have given up on Wilderness but the fish are still in there. A few pointers would be to fish the deeper water were possible. I have been using a 6 to 7 foot leader with a 3/8 egg sinker fished off the bottom in about 20+ feet of water. A green power egg with pink gulp worm has been hot and i have hooked the majority of my fish this way. Also a Berkley power nymph with 2 rainbow power eggs has also done really well. These 2 combos have worked far better than just power eggs. The fish still have alot of parasites on them (first pic). Only 2 of the fish i have caught were worth keeping. The good news is the fish are getting bigger. Average size is up to 12 inches and i caught 3 around 15 inches.

One negative would be some fishermen. I dont know what is up with these guys but they have no concept of fishing etiquette. On saturday 2 of them showed up were i was fishing and decided that casting over both my lines (have 2 pole endoresment) was a good thing to do. He managed to snag my lines multiple times and made it impossible to cast. I asked him to cast straight out but he just ignored me and continued to cast out at a 45 degree angle to the shore right over my lines. This isnt the first time they have tried to push myself or someone else out of a spot they wanted to fish.

Did they speak to you at all I have seen this on the puyallup green and carbon very rude people they did not speak any of the times I ran into them just continued to be rude got so bad on the carbon we threatened to throw him in and he left but he had pissed off 7 or 8 people who had been there for hours. What are the marks on your fish a parasite?

No they dont speak they just continue to ignore my requests and im not rude to them. It can be very frustrating. The marks are the parasites. I believe they are some kind of copepod (crustacean) another commentor did some research awhile back and it turned out that is what they are. This fish only had a few but most of the fish are covered in them.
