Man, I dunno what those guys are talking about on the posts at the bottom. This is the cleanest and most healthy lake I've ever seen. I was fishing from the park area at the tip where the boat rentals are at and I caught a 13-14 in rainbow, and that's the "usual" for that lake. I also fished from the side of the road and caught a largemouth bass too. Best thing to do is cast out from the park 50-60 ft.. 8 lbs test, and 1oz slide sinker with a foot leader and definitely lots of power bait. There was a guy there that caught 4 bows and a cutthroat. To catch a bass, go the the shore and catch a bullhead fish, they are really tiny and hide by rocks and such. put him on your hook and the bass can't resist.
