We arrived at the lake early on Saturday morning. We couldn't believe that our campsite was almost underwater. The water was past the high water line and according to Ranger McDonald it was, "Full plus 5 gallons." He also said it was the highest he'd seen in 10 years. Because of this, the shore fishing was a waste of time. If you could actually bush-wack to a shore area, the floating brush engulfed the shoreline making casts hard to reel in. The trolling on the North coves of the lake were great though. We caught 18 fish in about 4 hours. We used a line of spoons and went really deep. The rainbow tasted better than ever!!
