It was beautiful day to fish. About 75 degrees, heavy overcast for the first three hours. We started at 11am with a 10mph wind, pretty good chop and heavy skies. Due to the weather, there were only two other fishing boats on the lake. By 2 or so clouds had lifted, gotten pretty darn warm and the lake was almost calm until evening. The water had not warmed from last week ranging from 69.2 to 72 throughout the day. We wrapped at 6:30pm.

P. attended the Fly-In, so K. and I fished the entire day. The lake was like an aquarium - super clear and small bass were everywhere. They tended to move to different locations and depths throughout the day. They must have plenty of food because we saw zillions but only boated 55.

My success for catching and releasing 36 was strickly on lures. K. boated 19, about 2/3 of which came on worms. We each boated a nice 2 lb LMB. All were LMB except we each caught two pumpkinseeds. The big ones are deeper and wary but we'll get em'.
