On the lake about 6pm. Headed straight to a favorite spot of mine. Threw a crankbait a few times with no luck. Switched to my trusty dropshot armed with a brown zoom catepillar. This was money. I trolled back and forth across the stretch several times with lots of bites. Ended up landing 5 (all pretty small) and losing two in mid air right by the boat. Found them on steep dropoffs near docks and submerged timber. Switched to a zara spook at last light and missed a few and then called it quits. The bite was on and I had a lot of fun fishing. See you all out there!

You must have seen old Ruth, after all the wild cat reports! Target the swimming area around the park. She likes that area of the Lk.

I'll have to check it out! So far I haven't laid eyes on much bigger than 2 lbs in there. I see it as more of a quantity lake than a quality lake. I go to wildcat when I get too frustrated at Long and Kitsap, haha!
