Ray "Roses" Rhoads wanted to go to Roses and have some fun. So we went to Roses and caught some fish on jig and bobbers, some throwing spinners, but mainly by fishing worms on a hook with a little split shot just above it. The area around the edges is loaded with fish. Most are very little, but there are a number of respectable bluegill, yellow perch, crappie and even Walter the channel cat is a possibility.

If there aren't that many of decent eating size, was it necessary for you to harvest that many?

@lschriver1 - Selective harvest will improve the fishery especially with panfish. Notwithstanding they were well within regs, their harvest can improve sizes. Looks like a nice catch and good eating.
