10/8/2011 3:56:00 PMSince you are trolling you have a boat and maybe a bottomfinder, find some depth diff., I know that offut is a shallower lake, but any 5 to 10 ft. diff. would help, double anchor on the deeper side of the dropoff by 20 or 30 ft., use sliding egg sinker with 3 to 4 ft. leader, power nuggets or power eggs, trout are slowing down as the weather cools, still fishing dropoffs away from the docks may prove productive. Other techniques that may work are slowly pulling worms. i don't know if you are reading surface temps. , but it's prob. diff. temp. 20 ft. down or so as the lake hasn't stratified yet. good luck, bob r
