Only my 2nd time out musky fishing this year. Ended my shift this morning and decided to try Tapps for a couple hours, mostly just to fine tune the gear. Tried a variety of lure options, basically anything between bucktail, spinnerbait and crankbait. Didn't see any tigers but did see some signs of life with a school of small perch roaming around and even had a visit with a low flying eagle. Water is rising, just take your time launching and make sure your prop is up. Now off to play some hockey with my son.

Hey, procaster. I also thought North Park didn't open till the 1st. But a friend of mine drove over to North Park. He told me there is a sign posted stating that it opens on Saturday, the 31st.
