The Lewis County Bass Club held our open tourney saturday and our club tourney sunday and there were ALOT of fish caught both days. We had two largemouth and over 240 lbs. of smallmouth weighted in. Most of the fish came from the east end of the lake and fell to several kinds of baits. Winning weight was nearly 19 lbs with second and third places less than a pound and a half behind. The lake is raising quickly now and the fish are following it up, so 2-6 feet was the magic depth and rattle traps, jerkbaits and plastics of all types did the trick. There were also truckloads of silvers being caught from both the bank and from boats. If you get a chance head to Riffe now, it is just on fire!
