HaHa Nice 'measureing stick' ya got there.

I have one of those swimbaits, someday I'll have to try it.

That honestly looks like the same bug eyed female that DressCode caught a couple days ago in his post. Check the tail damage on both pictures. :)

Ya, that is an awesome pic. reference with the dog. Any time on a forum when you talk about a bass in terms of 6+ pounds, you will ALWAYS have nay sayers out there to dispute it. Anything you can do short of a pic. of your digital scale, is a good thing.
I have no idea what the bass weighs of course,,,, but your dog is a hillarious reference.

Nice fish but you should probably stop putting the fish all over the ground. I've seen some of your other pictures with the bass all covered with dirt and stuff, it's probably not good for the fish.

6" swimbaits aren't even big. people throw 8" + swimbaits all the time. great fish!

Man I wish fishing in there today . Tossed in the line and decided that this place is all sight fishing right now and pretty much lucky placement because I threw in with all types of lures ad stuff and man these son of guns are tricky to intise when they are right up on the the shoreline . I saw a 16"+ bass just sitting in-between the Lilly pads and the paved path and boy was that a stubborn bass . I swear I saw this fish sitting in a nest today aswell . Nice catch though bro . If u see a ten foot Jon boat out on that lake then that's me being tired of bank fishing lol.

bankbasser: I caught my bass in thick, wide spread pads. There's no way you could get a swimbait through there but they do have similar tail damage. Nice fish dude.

Nice fish and good report. I would get yourself a tape measurer. That is what I use. General sizes are 12" is a lb, 14-15" about 2lbs, 16-17" about 3lbs. I have gotten two 19" by 7" wide bass both were 4lbs. But they can be heavier if wider. Good report and nice use of the dog.
