Was able to take my dad on a short fishing trip on Sunday. Launched at noon. Weather was calm and there were not a lot of people on the water. Started trolling a SuperDuper and spinner. About 12 minutes in and my dad has a hit on the SD, but didn't take. We got 5 hits between the launch and the far end of the lake. I switched out to a green spoon and shortly hooked up the first catch. Avg. stocker. Made almost an entire loop of the lake after that without much more than a nibble. Swapped out my dad for a wedding ring setup. He soon had his first RB. I soon switched over myself. We found a spot that had consistent hits, so started making loops. Managed to pick up eight keepers. Two about 14-15 inches, the rest average. Lots of hits in between and lost a couple at the boat. My dad caught most of them, which was fine by me. :) Called it quits at 3pm thinking we'd pick up our remaining two of the limit on the way back to the launch, but no such luck. Good time on the water and nice to spend some time with my pop. Lots more people on the water when we left. Quite a few distance swimmers, paddle boarders, and some fishermen.

Way to get it done out there. Did you try the north arm of the lake at all?

Thanks. No, stuck to the main lake, but stuck mostly to the east end. Saw a couple boats navigate up to the north arm, but didn't see them come out.
