Well I finally got my first fish of the year out of 5 trips. Started out cloudy and drizzly about 10AM but it got nice by 1pm. Used my new Lamiglas G1307 steelhead/springer rod and Rainbow glitter Power eggs on a 4' leader. I picked up a FAT 16" Rainbow holdover. Only saw one other fish get caught from shore and it was too far away to get a good look at it. A guy out trolling a set of blades with a wedding ring caught what looked like 4 stockers that I saw but it took him 6 hours. I did get one other bite in the afternoon on orange glitter Power Eggs and hooked up briefly, but it got off in the weeds.

Very nice fish! I would suggest that your fish is a stocked Triploid, due to the tail fin being all worn away. Usually fish that spend a lot of time in pens have this kind of looking tail fin. Very common on the Rufus Woods fish. Either way though that is a serious meal!
Curious what some other people's thoughts are.
