I had football practice , so by the time I met up with my dad, he had already been fishing for a hour and caught 5 bass ranging from 1.5-3pounds. By the time I got out, the bite had slowed down. I caught a 2 pound squaw on my new castaic SBT, and caught this solid 2.5er on a dropshot by the 1-90. Made my day.

What's the best lure for drop shot setup around there?

I find sniper snubs and bolts to work pretty well. Yesterday, we found some old sticleback imitations (not sure of name or anything) just laying around out of the box and we tried those, and they worked. On the pic on the right, you can kinda make it out in the smallies mouth.

Probably because alot of stickleback are dying of right now, and the bass eat the dying ones.
