7/6/2012 11:13:00 AMI have fished Sprague a couple times recently (in fact we were on the lake on the 4th too. Guess you were not watching us). I am primarily a catch and release fisherman but between my friend and myself we average 15-20 fish a trip...keeping a couple over 21 inches. Those are 4+ lbs. I agree they will fight, pound-for-pound, as well as any trout around here. We have found that you need to look for the fish when trolling, concentrate on that area, and not be afraid to change up your technique to figure out what they want. On the Fourth, I was using my ol' standby rig, was not getting so changed my dodger and started to get hits one after the other.
