Trolling for Kokanee with wedding ring and worms. No Kokanees, though my buddy and limited out on rainbow trout. Took water temperature before we started fishing and it read about 60 degrees on the lower and 62 degrees towards the surface. Fish were jumping out of the water throughout the day. We fished from 0630 to about 1000 hours and found the east side of the lake a hot zone. There is a monster trout in there that gave us a glimpse of how handsome he was. Now he's on our hit list.

I was there on the 4th and caught 3 kokes. The water temp has climbed into the upper 60s and they have gone deep. As you pull away from the launch, turn right and troll down the middle in the 30' to 32' water. They are hanging at 24'+ water and you will need a downrigger. My rig was a 4" pink dodger and a pink squiddy hoochie with corn. I have caught up to 15" and others tell me there are 17" (night fishing). There is still a 5lb $300 tagged rainbow from opening day that has not been caught.
