After alot of uncertainty, my dad and I decided to go out fishing tonight, after he brought it up, and who would I be to argue with that. Halfway threw the day, I caught a dink squawfish, released him, but with a hole in his head. He was caught on a koopers deep diving (17-20ft) crawfish crank on a rockpile in 15ft of water. Towards the end of day, we towed someone with a broken motor to a dock that they could get help from and went back out. Not too long afterwards, Im using the deep diving koopers in 25-30ft. of water under 1-90, when I feel my line go slack and set the hook! Wound up being a good 3.5 smallie. Fishing was tough, but in the end, it turned out alright. On a side note, surface temp on WaWa is up to 73 degrees

Nice one. You guys must get out a lot. I saw you heading out from the marina. I got a 3.2 SM under the bridge, and lost 3 others that felt about the same size. Darn SM, guess I should fish for them more often.
