Started early around 5am ish. Caught a small smallmouth right by the boat at our camp site using a red wedding ring jigging it in the weeds. After that we trolled a cove that featured weeds on the edge of the cliffs, this area is not covered by water in the winter. the weeds are about 10-20 ft of water then it drops off down to 100 ish ft. trolling that edge we caught unlimited smallmouth and perch. and one kokanee. Perch countdown rapala was no good for the day. all of that was on the red and pink wedding rings.

Then the biggest fish 16 inch rainbow natural. Caught when I made the turn to cross the cove and fish the other side.. the fish are all in the same areas near the edge of the covered up weeds.

Launched at the KOSMOS launch. I love to launch there so long as the water level permits. All the spiny rays were under 10 inch, but I have caught multiple 3lb smallies here before. we camped about a mile west of the kosmos launch there are sites all over the lake just gotta look for them.

And about the kokanee, meh.... The literature is really tough to find on kokanee. Silvers .. yes coho landlock,, yes,,, kokanee.. i really thought was the same thing...
