Although I struggled a little bit today, the bite seemed to be pretty good. Wind and rain, but cloudy which helps the sockeye bite, I started around silver creek and went 1 for 4 in the first hour, but could not get bites the next 2 hours after that, even tho everyone around me seemed to be hookin up! Guess thats just the way it goes sometimes. ANyways, as im trolling towards the launch around 9am ready to leave, i see one guy hit a fish closer to shore, he was the only other boat around me, i trolled towards him, and immediately marked a huge school of fish shallow, so i brought the gear up and BOOM instant fish on and i lost him, before i could reset the the rod, boom my other rod goes off, land my 2nd for the day, drop one rod back in and before i can even get the shrimp out to put on the second rod boom, 3rd fish a 9 pound buck to finish the day, he took some line peeling runs! The whole time i was marking a GIANT school of fish on the fishfinder, i got lucky running into a school so ridiculously large!!

Thanks for the scouting report FF! Sounds like one whole truckload was all hunkered down together. Were they in holding water or will they be on the move from that location?
