Rockbassin was fantastic again today.fished 830am to 530pm. so far since july 12th i have caught and filleted 123 of these little bass-turds. i saw a largemouth for the first time at green lake. it had to be 5-6 pounds i tied on a 4 inch senko and flipped it out to it. it turned to it and just tasted the end of the senko and spit it out. casted to it a couple more times she chased it but didn't bite. had my heart thumpin.

Dang Witt, you're going to eradicate those little guys!! And yes, seeing any bass around 5+ makes your race, props as usual,..

Nice job! I've seen bigger than 6lb bass in there for sure. My heart would have been thumping too.

Are you seeing any beds when fishing around the lake. or is the spawning over by now?

the spawning is over i am sure. back in may when i filleted the rock bass they were full of eggs that poured everywhere. now the eggs are just tiny sacs.

if your talking about largemouth bass then yea its post spawn.

I think its far past post spawn, most bass spawn around the beginning of June in Lake Washington and Green Lake is a lot smaller. Therefore Green Lake should have warmed up earlier so the bass would have spawned earlier than those in Lake Washington.
