7/27/2012 2:34:00 PMI was using a 3/16th oz. Explaining where on the lake they were caught is pretty hard, knowing the layout of St. Clair. But I caught fish on both the main lake and the fingers.

Went to Lake Tapps. Took one look at the 2 ft breakers coming in on the launch and the white capped lake, and turn the truck around and left. By the way, the pay booth no longer gives refunds. Now you are given a voucher which you have to send into the parks department, with a copy of your receipt, plus an explanation why you want the refund. Too much trouble. I'm a senior. I'll eat the five bucks. Anyway, got on I-5 and went to St. Claire. It was windy there too, but at least managable. Fished till noon. Caught 12 largemouth. Nothing big. A couple in the 1 1/2 lb range, and one 2 1/2 lber. All on a Bitzy Jig.
