On the lake around 8:30, trolling was slow, one bite on the top line and that's it for 2 hours. Anchored up in 30ft of water to target perch and my buddy catches one right away, nice sized one too, 10" and fat. We caught 4 or 5 nice perch before we started catching rock bass all of a sudden. Look at fish finder and we had drifted into 20-25ft of water even with the anchor down because of the wind and wakes from boats going by. Move back over 30-34 ft and start hooking fat nice perch again, even manage to hook two 12 inch rainbows. On the ultra light gear i have for this fishing it was a blast. We had to keep repositioning due to wind and wakes pushing us off but otherwise a great day.
