Its official, I don’t know how to bass fish, we went to the arboretum to try a few holes since we got a later start then I wanted. we tried every spinner bait, grub, and floating rapala I had. we fished for an hour or so then went right below the museum of Industry and fished off of the first bridge it was completely dark out but we tried for awhile, I got one hit from a floating lure that had a blade and make a bunch of top water noise. I couldn’t get whatever hit it to go back.
the bugs on the other hand I give them 5 starts, they got more bites on me then I knew was possible
