Hit up Beaver today. Used topwater frogs and senkos/worms. No luck. Had one hit on the frog but thats it. Fished from 9am to 2pm. This lake reminds me of lake cassidy a bit. Looks like a bass haven with no action. I hate leaving reports with out pictures but I got no fish. Fished along the pads/reeds and around/top the slop. Saw one guy fishing but he looked frustrated like I did after the third hour. Wind did come up at times then it would be dead calm. Maybe next time.

There are some piers close to deep water that do good. There's one broken down pier in shallow water that's also good. Finally, some of the lily pads in the north side is also good. Now figure out where this places are... However, if you have to fish from shore, no luck... there's no really good place for that, except that you can get some dinks (less than 8 inches) by the beach of the park.

No Piers on Beaver (Skagit) but there is a floating pallet island covered with reeds and cattails. - I have had zero hits on hollow belly frogs this year but have had good success with the buzz fogs there in the last couple of weeks. Target the inner most pads on the West - North West end of the lake. If the wind picks up, tie on a spinner bait and work the wind blown edge of the pads. I try to run both lures parallel to the front of the pads. If your keeping bass to eat... Remember those slot limits folks!
