8/31/2012 3:40:00 PMI wish I could say the crawdad and perch were the average but no they were the big ones for the day. Perch, we had ten or so"jumbos" that size. The rest were good sized (I can fillet them and feel good about the effort it took). I think if we had longer we could have gotten more. The crawdads were caught on bass carcasses I'd filleted out and frozen. Three hour random daytime drop with two of my small traps I wad doing back flips. My nine crawdads I caught completely covered a dinner plate. I'll use all my fish carcasses for bait. Just drop in a zip lock and freeze. Good way to get rid of them too without smelling up the garbage can.
