9/26/2012 8:02:00 PMNo one can really explain it. A genetic flaw. Along with the underbites and the flared gills its hard to say man. You guess is as good as mine. Great question though. It doesn't effect the way they eat, swim or strike your lures. Thanks

9/27/2012 2:37:00 AMNice job getting them on some fish. I heard the tails get trashed in the tanks at the hatchery, they seem to be all beat up right from the get-go when planted. Nice lake too.
