9/29/2012 9:29:00 AMBecause the game department says the lake is being over crowded with smaller smallmouth, I have kept smaller ones in the past. But when it comes to the 2 lb plus fish, I always release them. The lake is close to full pool. But there was an article in the News Tribune this morning saying they will begin drawing the lake down appoximately 4 ft. Which compared to before is nothing. They said it would be refilled to normal levels by April 15th.
