Today Was my lucky Day. While fishing in the lower most pens area I had the good fortune to meet a fellow WA Laker, GANNO. Nice to meet ya ganno and it was a pleasure to watch you educate some of the Rufus Woods FatBoys. Lots of line stretching, pole bending, and aerobatic action today. When I first got to the lower pens there was an up lake breeze and little current, But only Two boats in the area and the fish were active. Last night I had tied up a couple orange, a couple brown, and several variations on the black Jigs. Even tied a few pellet "style" flies. Anyway, Tied on the dark colored jig and got a few hits and brought a few 2 1/2 - 3# fish to boatside, C&R, then picked up the rod with the orange 1/16 oz Marabou jig, and started catching fish. It wasn't red hot action, but it was busy enough I was retying every 3-4 fish. I was using a 7 1/2 or 8' ultra-lite rod with 4# line, and those fish were giving it a workout. Had several fish clear the water, so made for an exciting morning. Ganno would drift/troll by once in a while and we had several double hookups throughout the morning. I was able to release several fish in the 4# class, but didn't land any big fish today. Caught fish on Black Marabou jigs, Brown Marabou jigs, Orange Marabou jigs, and a couple on a "super-Duper" even, along with a heavy fish hookup on a B-2 squid. I even matched the hatch with my attempted pellet immitation, and hooked up with several fish on it. I was trying everything to find the magic combination, but seemed to get bit on a wide variety of offerings. I ended up keeping A 3# and a 3 1/2# fatboy as they were hooked pretty deep in the throat. A few pics of the beautiful fish and a couple of ganno doing some C&R work. Tight line and sharp hooks.

Thank guys for the comments. It is my pleasure to share up some pics. Doing action shots on your own fish is a challenge for me as all i want to do is unhook it and get the lure back in the water. LOL
