11/4/2012 12:56:00 PMTacoma Power has been over-planting Alder for years, thus the small size. Koke larger than 13" are few and far between. This is the only koke lake I have fished that is better after 10am. My goto has been a small dodger with a green or red double whammy wedding ring with anise/herring shoepeg on the DR. Second rod flatlined at 100' with either a wedding ring or a nettlefish. Try trolling a loop around the bay to the left of the Alder Park launch and then all the way to the dam and back. Most of my limits have come from within sight of the docks in 35' to 80' of water. The only time I have been skunked on Alder was the day we went to shoot a video!
