3 Hours/ 6 fish/ 4 keepers/ 2 at 16'' and 2 at 13'' with two throw backs. all browns. Nice weather, some wind made it harder to fish with my 12' aluminum and a trolling motor. Anyhow, have quite a bit experience here so I know when to head out when there is no wind because I know this can be a very very dangerous lake in a hurry in my boat. There were 10 other trailers in the lot and water seemed normal height and color to me. average day and nice to get out for the first time of the year and can not wait for the bassin to heat up some. I will be back again in a few weeks or so. Stay safe all.

When I was there the water was above the white marks on the cliffs where the hard water stains it at full pool. Was it down when you were there?

Things sure change up fast. I went out again last Friday and the water was at normal height, normal color, normal clarity. I did notice that there was a 6" band of bright green alge on the cliffs above the current water height, so the water was higher just recently for sure.

I can see that you observed different conditions then I did. In three weeks I saw the water come up 3', then drop a foot. For Rock, this is wild. I suspect that it will settle down for the rest of the winter and only the spring rains will change things now.

Good Report.
