Put in at 5:00, after work, of course. Was hoping to find the leery largemouth bass, female. Failed. I still give this a rating of 2 beings I got a smallie, 14 feet of water dragging a Powerteam Lures 4.8" JP Hammer Shad in spicey goby on a 3/8's oz. football head jig.

I broke off another fish setting the hook on the same rig. Tried the Suffix line this year. Not sure about it, yet, but that was not good, 10# snapping like that. Could have been damaged. Jury is still out. Pretty sure that break off was a LMB and I can only say that with some sort of confidence as I have caught about 30 fish off that dock in the last few years and never, ever, have I caught a smallie there, but then again, who knows?

I have missed a couple hook sets and broke one off tonight on the hookset, but I am going to go ahead and jinx myself and make the statement: I have hooked 15 fish this year and landed all 15:) I'll take that, any day!

I should make sure to mention that the Suffix line I speak of is flourcarbon, just to get that straight:)
