Spent the day on Tapps hoping to hit the sunny weather and a musky or 3 or 4. Weather was perfect for fishing 50ish temp some good wind a little rain and not many folks on the lake. Water temps I found to be colder than i expected. Found a high of 51 otherwise 49 degrees everywhere else.Got off the musky schnide for 2013 put a 42 incher the new Frabill then about a half hour later a 33. Trolled the clearer northside of the lake then headed to the dirty south end and put a nice 3 lb smallie in the net too. Pretty good day. Supposed to get warm starting Monday..figures..then the rest of the week the fishing should heat up pretty good. Trolled in 25 feet of water hittting points and structure around them. All in all a pretty good day.

That is sick! I would so love to mark Muskie off the bucket list...I'm from Tacoma though and I've only ever fished tapps twice, got skunked both times...Would u ever consider taking out a couple ametures and show them how it's done? I've got a boat, I'd be more than happy to pay for everything in exchange for some education and possibly a fish in the boat. My buddy and I are very eager fishermen and would love to befriend some more experienced fishermen who are willing to share some knowledge and have some fun out on the water.

Muskyhunter has always offered a back seat to folks looking to find a tiger in Tapps, Mayfield or Merwin. Seems like a good guy.
