Got out on the lake at around 5 pm. Mainly went out to run the motor a bit and get it good to go for opening weekend, but we managed to fit a couple hours of fishing in before the sun went behind the trees.
Unfortunately, the battery for my trolling motor died on us, so we were stuck with bottom fishing. Landed three or four total. One nicer Rainbow at 13" or so, and the rest were little planters from this year. The bigger one looked like it might have been native though. No wear on any of the fins.
~20" leaders using either pink or orange Powerbait for all of them.
Sorry for no pictures, but nothing was too impressive anyways.
